‘GenZ correcting Kenyan politics’ with Omish Njash – part 2

Two and a Mic - The Social Podcast di Zak

Note sull'episodio

Omish Njash explains this sentiment during the podcast: there is difference between art and content. There is a realisation that there is a need for the creation of a new currency that is neither art, nor wisdom, or even sensible, to even be content. They jump on the moment to create content, which has a shorter life span and less meaningful value.

“An artist is faced with their own honesty or dishonesty, at a moment that has become political.”

“We take democracy seriously.” I am not sure many politicians want to hear this, even some of those who welcome criticism. Democrats (I am referring to any democracy advocating politicians, anywhere) want to believe in democracy if it brings them to power. They will believe in it again when the election cycle comes around again. What they do in between is anyone’s guess.
