Note sull'episodio
Brigham Young was born on June 1, 1801, in Whittingham. Often called the “American Moses,” he led thousands of Latter-day Saint pioneers across the plains to the Salt Lake Valley after the death of the Prophet Joseph Smith. Though he had little formal education, Brigham Young strongly valued learning, hard work, and self-improvement. He helped establish schools and universities, including what became Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. As a Church leader and governor of the Utah Territory, he emphasized faith, perseverance, kindness, education, and community building. Many of his teachings encouraged people to work diligently, treat others with compassion, beautify their surroundings, and dedicate their lives to worthwhile purposes.
