Kerry Washington's recently released memoir "Thicker than Water," is a beautifully written expose of her relationship with her father. She reveals inner thoughts and traumas that mainly stemmed from a tenuous, if not fractured, relationship with her dad. Many lessons to be learned here by women and men alike. I share some of mine.
