About the guest, in his own words:

I was born in the Netherlands, raised in Italy, and educated in the United States, but I've lived in Arkansas longer than anywhere else. I arrived in the US on a basketball scholarship, and met my wife Kelly in college. We have four kids together.

I studied engineering in Italy before coming to the US. Here, I studied philosophy and religion and worked in the education space for the first 10 years. In my early 30's I did a career shift, going back to school, this time in the Netherlands (the land of my parents), getting an MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management.

My career in business started in business development at Myngle.com, an edtech company in Amsterdam.
