About the guest, in his own words:

Ever since I was a kid, I had a passion to create and invent. When I was a young engineer, I got to turn that passion into a reality when one of my first patents launched a new business. Two other founders and I grew that business from nothing to $10M in about 3 or 4 years. At the same time, I started a non-profit. Twenty years later, that organization has grown to be bigger than I imagined, and it's successfully grown beyond needing my involvement.

I went on to climb the corporate ladder eventually becoming responsible for a $200M a year in sales, but I missed the entrepreneurial spirit I felt when I was younger, so I left the corporate world to run a small business of 55 people.

I worked closely with the owner time to turn his vision into a reality.
