Erin Heily I started working with seniors while I was with the City of Alameda Fire Department. I attended the NFA Promote your Program Class where I presented the first Senior Fall and Fire Safety Program, which was funded by a FEMA grant. By the end of the week over half of the class participants decided to start senior safety programs in their cities. It was a huge success for the citizens as well as the Fire Department. I currently work in Senior Living in Bellevue WA, I am also a Certified End of Life Doula.
