This story not only inspired Mr. Zak Bagans to make his Demon House documentary, it most recently gained notoriety when it inspired the 2024 Netflix movie The Deliverance with Glenn Close. Known as the "Ammons haunting case," it began in 2011 and gained significant media attention due to the bizarre and disturbing events reported by the family, law enforcement, and even medical professionals.
