Anyone who knew Anita Cobby would tell you the same thing; She was a bright and beautiful human being, inside and out.

On the evening of February 2nd, 1986, as she walked home from the train station after work, 5 men in a stolen car abducted, tortured and murdered her in cold blood.

Her only crime? Being in the wrong place at the absolute wrong time.

The Australian public was rightfully, so outraged and shocked by her senseless death that they petitioned for the government to allow for the death penalty to be reinstated.
