There is no Palestinian State. World leaders can say anything they want, but the fact is: you cannot have a state without borders or a government. And the other fact is, the Palestinians have neither.
And for good reason.
The Arabs were actually offered a state by the UN in 1947 and 1948 but they rejected the partition plan outright because they refused to recognize a Jewish State.
Later, this refusal would be codified in the Khartoum Declaration of 1967: No recognition of Israel. No peace with Israel. And no negotiations with Israel. AKA, The Jewish State.
And so the stage was set.
We can rewind centuries or even millennia to trace the roots of this belligerence and the violence that accompanied it, but instead, let’s fast forward to 1993, the first of the Oslo Accords when it finally seemed like peace may just be ...
