Chris is the Director and Curator of Entomica Insectarium in Sault Ste. Marie. Ever since childhood, Chris has been captivated by the natural world, with a particular fascination for insects. Chris is now fortunate enough to work with these amazing creatures on a daily basis. Before finding their true passion in entomology, Chris worked in a diverse range of fields, such as tool and die manufacturing, oilfield work, construction, firearms range safety, and landfill transfer. In April 2022, after returning to school and graduating from the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Technician program at Sault College, Chris was hired by John Dedes [Biologist, Great Lakes Forestry Centre (GLFC); President of Entomica] and began working in insect production at the GLFC.
