Snow moves into the Portland area around 8 P.M. It spreads inland overnight. Expect a coating to an inch in the city. Head north to Augusta and you'll see a chance for snow after 5 A.M. The mountains stay mostly cloudy and cold. Down in The County, it's a different story. Lows drop to minus 2 degrees. That's dangerously cold. Friday brings more clouds.
