The Malcolm Brown Art Gallery was a pioneering cultural hub in the affluent Cleveland suburb of Shaker Heights, opening it's doors on September 18th, 1980. Founded by artist Malcolm Brown and his wife Ernestine, it is recognized as one of the first for-profit, Black-owned fine art galleries in the United States.
