April’s caregiving journey spans nearly two decades, from nannying children on the autism spectrum in California and supporting her own family members, to helping open Restoring Hope’s very first medical ISL (Individualized Supported Living) in Lincoln, Missouri. Today, she balances her work as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with providing essential relief care for host homes.
