VAR Wars - The Phantom Cable
England vs. Norway gave us The Phantom Cable...did the ball really hit the camera drone cable, or are we being sold a ghost story? Meanwhile, VARgentina is now 8-for-8 on VAR calls. Coincidence? Plus, diving review giving us yellow is good for the game! Semifinals are next.
Red, White, Black & Blue
Well...here we are...again. Is the Round of 16 the ceiling for the USMNT? This year truly felt different and yet, our hearts (and heads) and in pain. Outside of our nation, teams are rolling! France look unstoppable, Spain has their super sub, England luckily has Kane, and Norway has a literal super-hero Viking about to be in the next Marvel movie...but don't forget about the Goat...
Eagles Screeching
FREE BIRD BABY! USA is moving on to take on Belgium in their revenge game from 2014. Round fo 32 has brought us drama in almost every match, and we have to give some flowers to FIFA for proving there is talent across the board. We've seen upsets, we've seen teams preparing for an upset, only to get caught in the moment. With only a few games left in the Round of 32, the final 16 are shaping up to be Goliaths in a den with no Davids.
Dozen Red Roses
Matdhday 2 is over and here comes the drama. Who will take the group and who will round of the bottom 8. Portugal, so back...Belgium, dropping fast. USA all the way? We think so. The stars are shining, we're smiling, and the tournament carries on!
CINEMA!
24 games down, 80 to go! We've seen 75 goals, 3 red cards in 1 game (the only reds), and a surprising 9 draws. Heroes have been discovered in Capo Verde as the "Volleyball Coach" handled Yamal & Co., earning their first point in World Cup History. Matchday 2 starts now!
Prêt, Colocar, GO!!!
The football world barely had time to catch its breath after a dramatic Champions League Final that saw PSG edge Arsenal in a nerve shredding penalty shootout to retain Europe's biggest prize. Now, all eyes turn to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where 48 nations will battle across North America in the largest tournament ever staged. New stars will emerge, giants will fall, and football history is poised to be rewritten on the sport's grandest stage.
The Finale, Championes
After 22 years of pain, banter, and bottle job accusations, Arsenal finally kicked the door down and the Premier League crown with 85 points, leaving Manchester City choking on second place. Manchester United rocked into third, Aston Villa crashed the elite party, and Liverpool’s title defense completely unraveled. Spurs spent the season flirting with relegation before barely surviving in 17th, Chelsea sank into embarrassing mid-table irrelevance with Xabi's arrival, and West Ham, Burnley, and Wolves were sent straight to the Championship graveyard. See you next season!!!
For All The Marbles
Arsenal are one win from glory .... If Bournemouth stun Man City tomorrow, the title heads to North London before a ball is kicked at Selhurst Park. Meanwhile, Spurs can shove West Ham into the Championship at Stamford Bridge. Title dreams. Relegation terror. Absolute carnage awaits.
Deadlock
City landing the knockout punch. Arsenal blinked. Cherki struck first, Havertz teased hope, then Haaland crushed it with trademark brutality. Guardiola’s machine roared when it mattered. The gap? Just three points, with City lurking and loaded. Liverpool grind, Villa thrill, Chelsea wobbling til the end!
What Goes Up, Must Come Down
West Ham smashed Wolves to escape danger, while Bournemouth stunned Arsenal and cracked the title race wide open. City surged, United stumbled, and Palace punished. Spurs? Still a disaster, sinking deeper after another loss. At the bottom, Forest are quietly fighting while others collapse.
