After surviving another assassination attempt, Syphina discovers something unsettling—a strange mark hidden on the inside of her wrist.

It doesn’t appear magical. It shouldn’t be there. And no one knows what it means.

Has she been marked somehow by her pursuers? Can the mark be removed? Or is something far worse already set in motion?

But the party has little time to focus on Syphina’s growing problem. The looming threat hanging over the city draws closer with every passing moment, and desperation begins to set in as they scramble to warn anyone who will listen.

The signs are there. The danger is real. But can they convince others before it’s too late?
