What does God look for when He searches a human heart? Today we step into one of the most famous transitions in biblical history. In 1 Samuel, the prophet Samuel is sent to Bethlehem to anoint a new king. While human eyes focus entirely on outward appearance, God delivers a timeless standard: "The Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart."
