What does it mean to be truly set apart for God’s work? Today, we look at the sacred rituals for ordaining the priesthood and the construction of the Altar of Incense. In the New Testament, Jesus sends the Twelve out with authority, but we also witness the sobering earthly cost of speaking the truth in the account of John the Baptist.

📖 Mark 6:7–29 – Jesus sends the disciples out two-by-two, followed by the tragic story of Herod, Herodias, and the martyrdom of John the Baptist.

📖 Proverbs 5:15–23 – A poetic call to faithfulness and finding satisfaction in the "wife of your youth."
