Note sull'episodio
With one of the world’s most remarkable life cycles and migrations, the eel is a reminder that the world is wonderful.
Yet, faced with ongoing threats from climate change and dams, the once abundant eel is having a hard time.
Bringing together poetry, memory, philosophy, science and hope, this documentary is my quest to muster up a little love for the mysterious and underrated eel.
Guests include author Patrik Svensson, eel scientist Dr Wayne Kosta, and Gunditjmara ranger Jakobe Walker.
