That's a 40 degree spread across one state before most folks finish breakfast. Folks, those north winds are the real story. Gusts up to 20 miles an hour are ripping across South Texas by 10 AM. Combined with bone dry air, that's triggering Red Flag Warnings across South and Central Texas. Any spark becomes a problem fast. Skip the burn pile today.
