East Tennessee sees the slowest exit — rain showers stick around through early afternoon before finally clearing out. Middle and West Tennessee? You're already seeing breaks in the clouds. By midday, sunshine wins statewide. Highs climb to the upper 60s and low 70s. Comfortable, but not quite as toasty as yesterday's near-record heat. Tonight stays quiet.
