To be a usable vessel in God's hands we must go through wilderness-type situations. These trials are dry, unpleasant, and sometimes lack relief. We see how God used Jesus's time in the wilderness to finish the making process. Likewise, our wilderness needs to complete God's process resulting in ultimate usefulness. The wilderness is used to develop our identity in Christ. "If thou art the Son of God". This is the question the enemy asks every child of God he encounters in the desert. What will be your response? Do you remember who you are as a child of God?
