As the days become shorter and the temperatures drop outside, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) can cause challenging concerns for some individuals. Studies show that 5% of adults in the United States, or around 10 million people, are affected by seasonal affective disorder with a predominance in Women. These symptoms tend to last about 40% of the year, through the fall and winter months and can cause debilitating mood disruption.
