Pedro Felipe Vintimilla is an artist, educator, and cultural advocate whose practice is deeply rooted in art making, art education, and cultural care. Born in Ecuador and based in Queens - NY, his work reflects personal explorations of cultural identity, immigration, gender, and belonging.
Pedro's work has been showcased in several notable exhibitions. In 2021, he was featured at the Queens Museum in "Art As Social Action: 10 Years of Social Practice Queens." In 2022, he participated in a group show at the Museo de Arte de Nogales, Mexico, titled "Ruta de Paso: Transcultural Landscape at the Gates of Mexico," and had a solo exhibition at Casa Del Artista in Cuenca, Ecuador.
