The First Squares Are In
After accidentally skipping a month, we're back to catch up on all our adventures, from swamp tours and pottery classes to watercolor projects, hiking trails, new friendships, and reading goals crushed ahead of schedule. We also share a few disappointments (RIP audition plans), plenty of laughs, and reflections on how trying new things is helping us truly live louder.
This month, we’re checking in on our bingo cards, and realizing this whole thing is starting to feel a lot less like a game and a lot more like real life. From baking layer cakes and perfecting salsa to reconnecting with old friends and diving into new books, we’re seeing how small squares can lead to meaningful shifts. We also talk about the things that don’t come as easily - like putting yourself out there, overthinking, and finally tackling the big, slightly scary stuff (yes, including a matchmaker 👀). If life’s been busy, messy, or a little off-track lately, this episode is your reminder: progress doesn’t have to be perfect, and sometimes the smallest step is the one that changes everything.
In this episode, we’re checking off bingo squares and calling ourselves out. From baking blueberry lemon scones (with the right tools, finally) to painting watercolor cards, contemplating layered cakes, and writing chaotic one-sentence-a-day stories, we’re leaning into creativity, even when it’s messy. We talk about overthinking everything from random acts of kindness to 1,200-page novels, why accountability actually works, and how progress over perfection might be the real win. It’s about trying the thing, sending the note, downloading the app (maybe), and getting out of our own heads long enough to actually live a little louder.
We are doing our first check-in on our 2026 bingo cards to see how things are going so far. What’s been checked off, what’s still lingering, and what’s surprised us this month - plus a little reflection on why these small goals are already making the year feel more intentional.
