The last road trip of the regular season has been completed and the team gave Galaxy's new face of the franchise, Zach Calzada, a warm welcome. We're looking ahead to that final, record-attendance-breaking, number-one-seed-deciding, undefeated-at-home-extending game against Munich Ravens and expect to send Veronica home to the States with a major W.

Last away game of the regular season

We're rounding of the regular season's slate of away games with a trip to Frankfurt who will face the Storm with a new man in charge, as the Galaxy released Ethan Garbers. The crew makes bold predictions for the game! Apparently someone in the FO listens to the Pod as the first 135-mention gets signed to the team.

Green run down the Nordkette

Our most thorough episode yet takes swings through the Raiders recap, and we discuss not only the game result, but also the two souvenirs the team brought back from Austria - Lucky Ogbevoen and Rasmus Hagberg and what those two signings mean for the team. This lead to a wider discussion about the new waiver wire rules and how those might affect roster management in the future. Mathias taps into Sweden for his 135 segment including one of Europe's most coveted recruits of all time.

Undefeated no more

Nordic Storm took their first loss of the season. What does that mean for the team moving forward? We also got hit with new import rules just five minutes before recording, we talk about them and try to make sense of them and their impact for the league and the lower ranked teams. Mathias gives an all-Danish 1-3-5 after a question in the Stormchasers group

Tragic Zach makes his arrival

In an expected close game, the Nordic Storm beats the brakes off of the Paris Musketeers - what happened? Mathias introduces a new segment called 1-3-5 looking in the crystal ball for future HG Stars for Nordic Storm. Coming off a lackluster performance against Frankfurt Galaxy, who had Clark under heavy pressure, the Storm OL were expected to have an uphill battle against a dangerous DL group - they did not. Instead another, unexpected, unit took the MVP honors for Paris.

What went wrong in Week 6?

Veronica is back and coming off what was probably the worst game Storm has had offensively we discuss what went wrong and what this game means moving forward as the schedule gets progressively difficult. Mathias introduces a new segment which will debut next week and be featured in non-game weeks and instead look to rosters of future.

In this episode we get some good listener questions out of the way, including the status of a Storm all you can eat buffet and more importantly an update on the injury situation - which is a mixed bag of news, from the seriously bad to the cautiously optimistic.

Week 2 Preview

Week 1 came and went and we got more blowouts than anticipated. Was that week 1 jitters or has the league's expected parity been over exaggerated? EIther way, Nordic Storm remains undefeated at home after another big win in Gladsaxe and they will look to repeat against Tirol Raiders in a franchise first ever matchup with the Austrians. Two high powered offenses from Week 1, will Raiders be able to keep up? And who will win in the other game in Week 2 between Paris and Prague?

Maceo Beard or Glen Toonga for game MVP? Bjørn and Mathias share the excitement for Week 1 that is finally coming up. Other than covering their thoughts for the game, including the return of Danish DB, Milos Ilic, who was the first player to pick off a Nordic Storm pass last year, they discuss the outcomes of the other games as well (and hardly agree on anything in those two matchups) They also discuss who will be the most important players for Storm's success this year! And are most important those who are hardest to replace or those who are best?
