How relieved do you feel, when someone has done you wrong and they eventually apologize for their offense against you?

How great a feeling if you would apologize to yourself. We often walk around blaming ourselves for the things that have happened to us. Child hood trauma, any form of Abuse, divorce, self inflicted hate or scared to step outside of the norm and just go for it.

I found myself apologizing to my adolescent self for what I was going to experience. I saw the bright light in the eyes of a younger me while looking at a photo. It’s truly amazing how that bright light in those eyes flicker or is snuffed out as we get older.

You owe yourself an apology. It’s not too late to do that. It’s not too late to apologize to those who were indirectly affected by the trauma you experienced.
