In the second of our Rambling road trip episodes, Scott and Brian visit their old cricket club United Cricket Club in Bendigo's Emu Valley Cricket League. There they chat with club President Shane Hartney and reminisce about their time at the club.

Shane has been president at United Cricket Club for 27 years and has overseen an incredible transformation of the club facilities at Ewing Park in central Bendigo. From a small tin shed to impressive 2 storey facilities complete with white picket fence around the ground, english pub style timber bar, and even a replica of the Lord's old father time weather vane, the facilities at United CC show a great reverence for the traditions on cricket.

Shane has also overseen unrivalled on-field success for the club and watched as multi-generational members have passed through the club.
