I Wasn’t Ready for Monday… So I Attacked
Spasmodic Dysphonia & Muscle Tension Dysphonia Exercises di Drew Hanson
Note sull'episodio
It’s Monday. I’m not in the mood. I’ve got a case of the Mondays.
So what do I do?
I attack.
This episode is a Monday voice warmup for Spasmodic Dysphonia, focused on loosening up the voice, finding head voice, releasing tongue tension, and building confidence even when your voice does not feel perfect.
We work through lip rolls, alternate lip rolls, “gug” exercises, tongue tension release, head voice placement, “wee/woo” work, and a tongue-out lip roll variation.
I still have Spasmodic Dysphonia myself. I’m not a doctor, speech therapist, or vocal coach. I’m sharing the exercises I’ve found over the years and documenting what helps me in real time.
Go light. Don’t force it. The goal is not louder — the goal is easier, more connected sound.
