And it's thick enough that visibility is down to a quarter mile or less in spots. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the Lowcountry until 9 A.M. Take it slow on the roads this morning, especially if you're heading toward the coast. The good news? This is just a temporary mask. In the next 24 hours. Once that fog lifts by mid-morning, we're looking at a spectacular afternoon. The Upstate climbs to 74 degrees under mostly sunny skies. The Midlands pushes even warmer, hitting 77.
