Key Text: Matthew 16:13-16

A ten-year-old boy woke up one morning and told his dad he wanted to go to church. A few months later, that same dad is sitting in a café telling a stranger: "I think the person of Jesus is fascinating."

That phrase set the tone for everything in this message.

In one of the most important questions in all of Scripture, Jesus turns to his disciples and asks not what the crowd thinks, but what they think. And two thousand years later, that question still demands an answer from every one of us.

In this message, Josh reorients the church around the person of Jesus — not as a historical curiosity, a moral framework, or a safe figure to admire from a distance, but as the living Lord who asks each of us personally: Who do you say that I am?
