New York, 1933. Ben Reilly hung up the spider mask years ago after losing the

woman he loved, and now scrapes by as a private investigator who turns down

rival investigator named Donegal. Back at the office, a new client wants proof

his wife is stepping out, and the trail leads Ben to a nightclub singer named
