In the 1800's, citizens of Germany voted on whether to add its existing Monarchy (my Hohenzollern Royal Family) to Germany's Constitution.
The yes vote caused the Constitutionalisation of my Monarchy to be enacted on the 18th of January 1871. Incumbent Kaiser Wilhelm 1, my Great-Great-Great-Grandfather, was ceremonially coronated a second time to mark the occasion.
By the end of 1888, the other relevent Monarchy, Preusseun, was destined to become permanently defunct due to circumstances when it's new and final Emperor Wilhelm 2 died. As a side note, the "Kingdom of Preusseun" was never the Constitutional Monarchy of Germany when it existed.
