Faye is a second-generation Iu-Mien American raised by refugee parents and the fourth of six children, born and raised in Richmond, CA. She majored in Public and Environment Health at UC Berkeley and studied Social Justice at the California Institute of Integral studies. She is currently based in Oakland, CA, where she is a Visual Storyteller at a social change communications firm, a freelance designer and photographer (fayepou.com), and the co-founder of SEAT.
