Bethany is breaking her "no talking about Star Wars on the internet" rule for this one...but really, it's easy to avoid the worst parts of Star Wars fandom when you're talking about Lucasfilm's shameless Goosebumps rip off, Galaxy of Fear! These books are fun genre mash ups that Jessica remembers fondly as favourites that she took out from the library in the late 90s.
