The Poole brothers have returned to once again dissect 2019's Detective Pikachu. Fresh off award season, they jump right into another lens in which to analyze the film and ask the question "Is Detective Pikachu fanfiction?" as well as "What even is a meaningful definition of fanfiction?" Harrison and Ethan use their degrees in Film and English/History to toss around some theories before landing on a definition they both find more useful and specific than what might be broadly accepted.
