In the years leading up to Finn's birth she had gone through massive transformations and initiations in her life. Diving deep into her belief systems, the conditioning and stories she held around birth, womanhood and herself... this all led her to leave a career that she had always believed was her dream.

After walking away from her employment and moving through the grief that midwifery was never going to be what she had hoped, and processing the trauma that she had experienced (and witnessed working as a midwife, she soon came to the conclusion that she no longer wanted to hold a midwifery registration at all and handed in back to AHPRA. It was the first of many, radical actions she made to take ownership over her life and time line.
