The following is a conversation with Hyun Jin Kim. Hyun Jin is an Associate Professor in Classics, Historical and Philosophical Studies at Melbourne University. In 2004 he went to Oxford University where he completed his PhD. He is widely published and has authored or edited several books. On the podcast we discuss his book, The Huns, Rome and the Birth of Europe. We discuss the under-appreciated and under-researched history of the civilisations that followed, and in some ways caused, the Fall of the Roman Empire.
