The ending to this chapter of my parents selling their house and moving to Arizona permanently has been really brutifil—both brutal and beautiful. It’s put me through the emotional ringer. I recently realized that this is also a really transformative time. I even felt excitement rather than sadness about it for the first time the other day. I started thinking about all the ways that this change will benefit me or my family and how this is an opportunity to also grow, heal, learn, and strengthen and I talk about those silver linings in this episode.
