On this special edition of Nemo Nation, host Jimmy Mac welcomes a packed studio of filmmakers behind the short film Ada and the Doc, a chilling, true-crime drama based on the infamous 1927 Louisiana case of Ada LeBoeuf and Dr. Thomas Dreher.

The project, written and directed by Matison LeBlanc, explores themes of women’s roles in society, corruption, and small-town gossip. Fresh off screenings at Cannes and the Baton Rouge Underground Film Festival, the Ada and the Doc team joins us to discuss their journey, the history behind the story, and what’s next for the film.
