In this episode, Gabriel Kennedy, aka Prop Anon, speaks with Darragh Maso, author of Song of the Dark Man: Father of Witches, Lord of the Crossroads. Darragh is an award-winning travel photographer, researcher, witch, and author. His book tells the tale of the folkloric figure known as 'The Dark Man,' and what happened to Darragh when he encountered him in real life! Our conversation covers that as well as the sources he used for his book. The Dark Man has a message for humanity at the moment. It's up to us to hear it.

Where Are My Invisibles!?! -- The Grant Morrison Interview

Grant Morrison is a Scottish comics writer, Hollywood screenwriter, executive producer, and cat lover. For over four decades, his work has entertained and inspired millions of readers with his unique form of storytelling, making him one of the most popular writers in Comics history. His list of bone fides is too long to name, but my favorites have been Arkham Asylum, Animal Man, Doom Patrol, New X-Men, The Filth, The Invisibles and his nonfiction book Supergods. Morrison’s work is a testament to the Promethean urge in us all to achieve our highest potential selves before shedding our mortal coils. For me, The Invisibles will remain the best comic I’ve ever read as the series captured my imagination in the same way that Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea’s Illuminatus! trilogy did. I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Grant three times before, but this is his first appearance on The Prop Anon Podcast. In this interview we speak about Morrison’ magickal observations of the Trump regime, to which he asks, “Where are my Invisibles?” as a rallying cry for others, American especially, to stand up to and defeat the rising tide of fascism in the world. Morrison is clear, Andrew Tate is a far cry from King Mob and so it is time yet again for the left to get cooler, sexier, and tougher than those fascists trampling on our rights. We talk about how this phenomenon relates to the magickal metaphor known as the Aeon of Ma’at and how vital it is for all of us to increase our knowledge of magick. We also speak about The Invisibles and its spiritual sequel The Filth. Morrison reveals his secrets behind the writing of that graphic novel and how he uses writing as a powerful tool in his magickal tool kit. We also speak about Chaos Magic, the Holy Guardian Angel, and how Bast, the Egyptian Cat Goddess is probably the most powerful deity in today’s world.

8-Circuit Ascension: An interview with Dr. Rachel Turetzky and Douglas Wingate

In this episode, I interview Rachel Turetzky, PhD and Douglas Wingate about their recent book 8 Circuit Ascension: A Guide to Metaprogramming the Multidimensional Self, published by Original Falcon Press. Their book explores the 8 Circuit Brain Model that Timothy Leary and Robert Anton Wilson first created in the 1970s, while synthesizing the model with new studies in neuroscience and psychedelics. The book also integrates the ideas of Antero Alli, Stanislav Grof, and the Holonomic brain theory with current research in developmental psychology. Rachel and Doug have spent years working in the realm of psychedelic-assisted therapy and their experience shows. Working in such spaces has allowed them to speak new life into the 8 Circuit Brain Model and provides inspiration for future researchers.

Prop Anon speaks with David Jay Brown, the American author and psychedelic philosopher, about his two newest books Psychedelics and the Coming Singularity and The Illustrated Field Guide of DMT Entities. David Jay Brown has spent a career analyzing the development of consciousness through his many books with titles like Brainchild, Mavericks of the Mind, Voices from the Edge, Virus: The Alien Stain, Mavericks of Medicine, Dreaming Wide Awake, and Women of Visionary Art. His two newest works call into the question are preparedness of the possible on-coming Singularity, that point of no return, where, because of Artificial Intelligence, our physical environment will be forever changed. Brown also finds the work that scientists have been doing with DMT an extremely important breakthrough on our collective journey to understand more about human consciousness. Hearing about the extended state DMT research currently being done leaves me curious to see where the work heads from here. I Ethan's digitization of The Realist magazine, Paul Krassner's pioneering magazine, is an amazing feat of internet age archivism. He also co-authored the graphic novel, John Wilcock, The New York Years, about the editor, media gadfly, and co-creator of another legendary counterculture newspaper, The Village Voice. John Crawley, author and former member of the Provisional IRA, talks with Prop Anon

In this episode I speak with John Crawley, author of the recent memoir, The Yank: The True Story of a Former Marine in the Irish Republican Army. Crawley, who was born in Long Island, New York to two Irish parents, eventually joined the Provisional IRA after he spent years in the US military, training with the elite US Marine Recon division. The book reads like a movie, as Crawley tells how he flew back to the States to begin a gun running network out of Boston, aided by none other than the Boston Mob. This is a great book, and our interview was also amazing. John thinks very philosophically when it comes to Irish Republicanism and makes those who listen wonder when, and if, it will ever be fully achieved. Take a listen!
