Their discussion stems from John 2:1-12 where Jesus begins his public ministry by turning water into wine! Because it was mother's day, we hone in on Mary's conversation with Jesus wanting him to do "something".

There is so much symbolism in this miracle but the book of John focuses it's attention on the SIGNS!

Are we seeing the signs or are we too focused on wanting the big miracle that we are missing the small signs of God?
