In Job 12 he replies to Zophar - the third reply to his friends, and his fourth speech. This is a long reply lasting three chapters, but not the longest speech which is the last one by God.

In contemplating this speech, and the others prior to this, the one element that seems to be completely missing is the context of eternity. This is something that seems lacking in many modern discussions about life and meaning too.
