In 2 Chronicles 17 During the reign of Asa, and Jehoshaphat, a huge number of kings were turned over in the Northern nation of Israel. There were about seven kings while only 2 reigned in the south. But eventually Ahab comes to be king up north bringing some stability there, and for the first time, the two nations begin to cooperate, Ahab with Jehoshaphat. This turns out to be bad in the chapters ahead according to the Chronicler.
