The feast of Purim begins tonight March 2nd to 4th…. Adar 14 and some celebrate it on the 15th…..SO PURIM LIKE ROSH HASHNAHA IS CELEBRATED IN TWO DAYS….. There are two traditions in Purim called “Mishloach Manot” (Giving of food to family and friends) and “Matanot La’evyonim” (Giving of gifts to the poor). To celebrate that CY will be donating non-perishable food to the Food Bank. Also, if you like, wear a costume as Purim is all about hidden identities. We encourage you to read the book of Esther to prepare for the teaching. The teaching will cover hidden clues that point to where this practices came from in the book of Esther and what its broader implication to us. We will look at how Esther was also like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. For the meat of the teaching , we will relate how Mordecai mirrored Joseph and more importantly  ...
