Conversation VII: When God Says, “No Farther”

There are moments when God does not prevent the battle from approaching.

He does not always stop the fire before it is lit. He does not always prevent the lions from surrounding you. He does not always stop the storm from forming, the enemy from pursuing, or the trial from entering your story.

But Scripture reveals another powerful dimension of divine intervention:

What God permits to approach does not automatically receive unlimited permission to destroy.

There is a boundary.

There is a limit.

There is a line established by divine authority.

And when God says,

“This far you may come and no farther…”

the enemy does not determine where that line moves.
