For more than 30 years, no one knew her name.
On October 24, 1994, skeletal remains were discovered beside railroad tracks near U.S. Highway 64 in Conway County, Arkansas. Investigators determined the woman had been murdered, but with few clues to her identity, the case eventually became known simply as Conway County Jane Doe.
Over the decades, investigators refused to completely give up on her. Advances in DNA technology offered new possibilities, including a reconstructed image of what she may have looked like in life. Then, in February 2026, the mystery that had lasted more than three decades was finally solved.
Conway County Jane Doe had a name: Jamie Ann Moore.
