In this week's episode we spoke to Workstream Lead for the Path to Excellence, Claire Skaife. In March 2020, Claire was 34 weeks pregnant when she contracted COVID-19. She was treated by her colleagues at Sunderland Royal Hospital as they saved her and her baby's life.

Here she talks about her experience and how the Northern Neonatal Network helped her through this time. Claire discusses how that led to her becoming a member of the Parent Advisory Group as well as a Professional Nurse Advocate. This sees her act as a voice for parent experiences, driving positive change for the future.
