Note sull'episodio
Good evening. Oregon. I'm Michael Nally.
That gray sky overhead? It's just the opening act. We're sitting at 58 degrees across the Willamette Valley right now—about 23 degrees warmer than usual for early March. But don't get too comfortable. A weak front slides in tomorrow, setting the stage for Monday's main event: a crash in snow levels all the way down to 1,000 feet.
Rain returns tonight, becoming steady by 6 P.M. In Portland. Down in the Southern Valley, showers arrive earlier, closer to 1 P.M. Today's pleasant warmth near 57 takes a hard tumble into the 30s by Sunday night. That sets up a wild swing for Monday—rain showers in the valleys, but snow mixing in after dark. If you're heading east over the passes, chain up early. The Cascades are about to get hammered, with 8 to 14 inches piling up by Tuesday.
