NBA Draft Week Recap
On this special NBA Draft recap edition, Garrett takes a look at both rounds of the draft as well as a couple of key trades that took place this week in the NBA. He first breaks down both major Celtics trades from earlier in the week and why he feels they made out well in both despite parting with some important pieces. He then takes a look at picks that he liked most from the draft and also takes a closer look at the Celtics selections and where they might potentially fit in on the roster.
Defense Dooms Sox Again + Bruins, Celtics Prepare For Drafts
On this week’s episode, Garrett begins with the Red Sox and details their frustrating series loss to the Giants in San Francisco this weekend and discusses why it felt like they gave away Sunday's game. He also shares some of his leftover thoughts about the Devers trade and also talks about how the offense is in critical need of a boost. He then gets to the Bruins and discusses a few topics as they approach the draft including who the next captain might be and the hiring of a new assistant coach that may help the B's power play unit next season. He also briefly talks Celtics as they also are approaching the draft this week. He discusses what they might do with their draft picks as well as who could possibly be traded in the next few days. Also this week: a quick update on the Revolution who will play two home games this week, a recap of Game 7 of the NBA Finals, a new Top Five, and much more!
Sox Deal Devers To Giants + Patriots Prepared For Training Camp
On this week’s episode, Garrett starts with the Red Sox and details their sweep of the Yankees over the weekend and talks about all the positivity surrounding the team as they depart on a West Coast road trip. He then gets to his thoughts regarding the shocking trade of Rafael Devers and how things got to this point. He discusses why this is a major gamble and what it means for the team going forward. He then gets into several offseason topics regarding the Patriots including what position battles could be most interesting heading into training camp next month as well as the overall positive vibes that are going on around the team during offseason activities. He then briefly talks Bruins and discusses the small trade that they made with Chicago last week and how defenseman Victor Soderstrom potentially fits into their plans for next season. Also this week: updates on the Celtics and Revolution who had their unbeaten streak snapped over the weekend, thoughts on the NBA and Stanley Cup finals as they could come to an end this week, and much more including a new Top Five of Boston athletes that have been traded away!

On this week's Guest Friday, Chris Burnes and Sam Brown return to the program to talk all things PLL including their takeaways from the first couple weeks of the season. They discuss everything from the current state of discourse in professional lacrosse and how they see the game growing in the near future. On this week’s episode, Garrett starts with his reaction to the Bruins hiring of Marco Sturm as their next head coach and gives his thoughts as to what the former B's forward will bring to the organization. He talks about how despite the hiring, the Bruins still has quite a bit of work to do this summer to get back to contention. He then gets to the Red Sox and discusses their weekend series victory over the Yankees in the Bronx. He talks about how the offense came together in the last few games and how it could potentially be a sign of things to come. He also gives his thoughts on Roman Anthony and why it's beyond time for him to come up and join the big club. He then talks a little Patriots prior to them opening up mandatory mini camp this week and discusses a few position groups that he will be paying attention to. He also takes a moment to talk about David Andrews' retirement and what he meant to the Pats organization. He then gets to the Revolution and discusses their busy week on the road including a shutout victory in Montreal over the weekend that saw them push their unbeaten streak to nine games. He talks about how the injury to Alex Bregman will affect the team going forward as well as his thoughts about the defense. He then talks Bruins and discusses Jeremy Swayman's excellent performance at the World Championships and how it could be a springboard into next season. He also gives his thoughts on the B's giving a contract extension to general manager Don Sweeney. He then talks Patriots and gives some of his thoughts on last week's voluntary workouts and discusses his take on the wide receiver room and the offensive line.
