Winter's throwing one last tantrum before spring shows up next week. A clipper system is cranking out snow right now. and it's hitting hardest across the south central and southeast — that's where the Winter Weather Advisory runs until noon.
In the next 24 hours. Central North Dakota is in the thick of it. Heavy snow at 5 A.M., dumping 1 to 3 inches before it eases off this afternoon. You'll top out at 16 degrees. Tonight drops to 3 degrees under cloudy skies.
Northern areas catch the snow around 7 A.M. About an inch expected before it moves out. High near 13 degrees, but watch it fall to 11 by afternoon. Tonight bottoms out at 1 degrees.
